My sunday dinner

first of all, today, i got a really good dinner in my uncle's house. And, all the cousins and uncles came to the uncle's place. the dinner menu was curry rice. it was really good because i really like the india's food curry. Also, my aunts made this food, so it was really deliciouse and it had a deep curry color and the smell was like a hot cookie. it was really good. Actually, the dinner menu was not really important at that time. And, the dinner's meaning was really important because one of my cousin announcemented his specific wedding date with his girl friend. it was really meaningful to me and for whole family because he is the first one who gonna be get marry in the next whole family's second generation. so, it was great time for me.

Boiled Fish

There is a song in china, one of the lyric is "I love you like I love boiled fish...". You can see how addictive the boiled fish fans love this dishes. They compare it with their lover. I am one of them.
This Saturday, I went the 'lao si chun" restaurant in Chinatown with my husband and daughter. Of course we ordered boiled fish. Boiled fish is a very famous dish in Chinese cuisine. The sauces tastes spicy and hot. The fish marinated in sauce is very tender and slided. I am not actually know how the chef cook it. I hear that the chef must scald the slide of fish in hot oil very quickly . So the slide of fish would tender but not broken. It is very delicious. When you taste it once you will like it forever. But I don't think it is healthy enough. Because of the sauce, maybe the sodium is a little bit higher. That 's why I don't have it very often. But you know, sometimes people can't resist tempter from cate.

my dinner

i used cooked my own dinner when 5:00pm. but, when my mother came here. she

cooked the food for us. the time of dinner had to dalay to 9:00pm sometime we ate in 11:00pm.

the food in out dinner used to be pork, fish, chicken. my family really like to eat chicken. but i

dont really like it. i have eat rice everyday with some dishes. i cant eat the rice without any

sause. when there is no sauce: its hard to swallow. i also like toeat fast food at burger king and

drink a iced coffee. the iced coffee is very good. it taste very good. today, we had our dinner like

usual, chicken, pork, fish, and brocoli. of course we have rice too. with so many years of eating

the same food. i hate it pretty much. i would like to have so new tasty food.

MY DELICIOUS MEAL

I always cook lunch and dinner by myself.But today's no.I went to a restaurant with my friend.We were order some seafood and vegetable to eat.The restaurant was in Chinatown .But this order was very delicious .We almost finished all the meal .The order was has shrimp and some hot sauce.As you can see how beautiful was it.I think i will try to make this meal when i at home,and try to make it for my family .From now on,i still remember what is the real taster like and how delicious was the meal.

A snake meal

When you look at this picture, you will think what it is? “I am hungry!” Actually, you had a good appetite while you were looking at it. If you know the name of the food, you will feel hair stands on end, like me at first time to eat a snake meal.

A snake meal is inconceivability in some countries, but it is a famous bite and sup culture in China, special in GongZhou city. Snake meat not only have plenty nutrition, high protein, low cholesterol, Glutamic acid of brain need, eight kinds of aminophenol that God’s image require, etc; but also have a lot of officinal value, usefulness for prevention and cure of blood vessel, also spurt skin and raise the face, there is metabolic function that temper God’s image, etc. When the autumn was coming, a snake meal is very good for body health that had recorded in tradition sitology in China. So many people will go to spurt their body health and degustation appetizing the snake meal. In October first, 2006, I went to have a snake meal at last where a special village restaurant of study snake with my family before I immigrant to Chicago. Although, my family go to have a snake meal once every year in GongZhou, but this snake meal had a special feeling, more have a good appetite than before, because I wouldn’t have a snake meal after I immigrant to Chicago. I will be never forgetting a snake meal at last in China.

Peanut butter jerry sandwich
Lots of people say that peanut butter jerry sandwich is one of the American favorite food. However, It does not really attractive for me. A few days ago, I bought peanut butter jerry and I just put that in the refrigerator for a while. One day, when I was wake up I really did not have enough time for having breakfast. Then, I saw the Peanut butter jerry in refrigerator. So, I made sandwich and I bit that. I realized that has great flavor. It was totally different from other jams or butter. Actually, I had eaten the sandwich with grape jerry and peanut butter. So, I just thought that will be same taste as that I had before. However, It was my wrong preconception. Once I tried that sandwich, I eat that every morning. It is really simple to make and it is delicious. If you usually do not have breakfast try to have peanut butter jerry sandwich. You will like that absolutely.

Health

I like this meal.It looks good and i think it is health. this is me go to the trip eat in the restaurant.this meal has some beef, some vegetable,egg,and rice.it has some little spicy.Why i say it health.because it have meet and rice. meet and rice can give you energy. The vegetable and egg can supply your citrin.Then it has little spicy,you can eat more.its sapor is very good. i think this very good for health.if i go to this place next time, i must go to eat this meal first. but i don't know when is next time.Mybe i will try other health meal.

An special dinner

I usually cook my dinner because I enjoy cooking Ecuadorian food, but when I am not in good mood to cook I eat outside. There are a lot of good restaurants in Chicago and we can find food from all over the world in this beautiful city.

The dinner I have posted was cooked by me. It was on Saturday, March 29. I did not cook dinner on Thursday and Friday, so I decided to cook something delicious on Saturday. I went to the supermarket in the afternoon and I prepared this dish at night. It is baked chicken with steam rice and salad. I do not eat healthy everyday :(.. and I would like to reduce on my diet the rice and desserts. I made a dessert last Saturday. I love desserts and I enjoy cooking new dessert recipes. Yesterday, I remembered that it has been a long time since I have not prepared one, so I decided to prepare one famous spanish dessert. It is called "queso de leche", it is delicious and as you can see in the picture is big, so I still have some leftover in my refrigerator. I hope someday I can avoid the desserts!!..

Oranges

I just got up 15 minutes ago.The thing I want to eat this moment is oranges.I know I have to eat something before eating oranges.But I don't want to eat anything except oranges.I eat 2 to 3 oranges everyday.Because there is much vitamin C in it.It's good for our skin and body.Oranges are healthy food.Dietitian advises us to eat fruit like apples,pears,oranges everyday.As you can see,oranges are important to us,especially to me.I like sour orange.It tastes good.People around me don't like eating sour food.So I can enjoy all sour food myself.When you come to my house,you can see a boxful of oranges in the kitchen.All of them belong to me.

The time I usually eat is noon and dinner. It also I usaully eat alone at lunch and usually eat fast food in somewhere at downtown . However, at nght I usually eat dinner with my family. The different between is lunch was buy in fast food restaurrant and dinner usually is cook. The reason i eat fast food for lunch beacuse the time and cheap . At dinner ican choose whatever i want eat and cook. the dinner usually we eat is rice, fish, por or chickren and some other food. it taste and smell very good and taste much better than fast food i usually eat for lunch.

one of my best dishes

It was wednsday march 26th, my day off, I was in my house with my friends so I decided to cook chiken for dinner. As you can see in the picture the chiken looks very delicious and indeed it is. I was cooking it for almost two hours and I put in some ingredients that make the chiken smells very pleasantly, especially thanks to spanish safron. In addition I made a salad with rice, sweet corn, tuna,green beans,and tomateos. And I also cooked some eggplant in the Moroccan way. I chose to cook this meal because it's one of my best dishes and it's healthy too especially with salad. When my friends ate the dinner they told me that it was very delicious which made me very happy. I like to cook and learn how to cook new dishes so whenever I get the chance to learn it I will do without hesitation.

Healthy Food

Do you like to eat healthy dialy? Well I like to eat healthy and since I started workout five years ago every day I eat healthy food. I don't know but people all the time ask me why I do that and I answer that it's part of my life now because I learned like that and also I ike to take care of myself. I eat a lot of fresh fruits every day, chicken breast and rice because that kind of food have a lot of good nutritients for that my body needs every day. I like to cook my food every day and I never buy ready food from stores because most of that are unhealthy. Anyway today is Saturday one o'clock and I am with my brother in our apartment.

Today I cooked nice beef burgers, steam rice with corn and greek village salad. The beef now is nintyfive percent lean and that's mean there is no fat on it. It's very healthy with a lot of protein and other nutritients whitch are good. Today I desided to cook beef because is red meet and is one change. Also is very good for me. After I cooked my food it smells fantastic and smells perfect. I can't wait to try it.

Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty is my favorites’ cartoon. When I saw Hello Kitty I felt happy. I don't like candies, but I like Hello Kitty candies. When I saw Hello Kitty, I always want to eat them. That is the only candy what I like. One bag has three different kinds. Different colors have difference taste. Purple is graph, yellow is lemon, pink is peach. I don't like the real fruits. I like candy fruits more than real fruits. I know candy is not as good as real fruits. This candy could let me satisfy.

When I ate Hello Kitty candies, I was happy. In fact, candies could make me get fat. I was so afraid of this point. Hello Kitty candies are good of bring. I could take them to anywhere. When I feel hungry, I could eat it. I always ate candy when I was hungry. Candy is my friend. I like Hello Kitty! I also like Hello Kitty candies.

Every Day At Home

As you can see, it a home meal... I cooked this vegetable and chicken rice for my family yesterday diner. I really love to cook for all of my kids and my husband. I know that each ingredients I cook with , are healthy and make the test better. I used to cook with olive oil and I don't like fat meals. Until my kids were very small , I have always tough them to test everything new and appreciate all the different flavor. Further more , I like the way to have a great presentation of the meal and as you can see, I was happy to organize the dishes to give the desire of eating . My kids was  eating this meal like a glutton and it was hard to have time to pass the second time through. They asked for a desert and because I 'm very careful with the good balance , I mean the diet of each diner, I asked them to have a yogurt or a simple fruit. My older son was still hungry after this dinner and I gave him advice  to  eat some whole wheat bred to make himself full for good... We are not often going to the restaurant because I'm usually little bit disappointed about the way they put too fat on their meals. However, yesterday I would had  dream to go out for dinner because I hate the hassle of washing dishes and restaurant are good for that  

Sweet and Happy

Chocolate is my favorite. I like chocolate very much! Chocolate has a lot of difference kinds. Different kinds chocolate could give me difference feeling. Chocolates like a doctor. When you feel dizzy, you could eat chocolate. Chocolates are very sweet. People like to give chocolate to their lover. Sweet plus love equal happy. :-) I always received chocolate in Valentine's Day, but not from my lover. Just my friends gave it to me. It doesn't matter. I always felt happy. However, I like chocolate very much!

I like eating dinning outside. I think everybody same because dinning outside of food will taste very good. Last two week I went out with my friend shopping then went to eat sushi in woodfield's sushi station. This Japanese resturant almost full of people in the resturant. When we went to there we also need to wait for table. We sat near the offer sushis machine that could easy to picked what knid of sushis I like. The offer sushi machine turn around and around. Suddenly this sushi show up I told my friend help me to got it. This kind of sushi is the best of all the sushi. Although, sushi not my favourite food but this knid of sushi I like very much. Inside of sushi have shark's fin and and something made from Jellyfish. Maybe all the sushi is taste very good. Howevr, I just like this very much. This kind of sushi when you put it in my mouth it wouldn't feel smell strange and taste bad. Because this two sushis need two dollars. But I have had eaten two plate of this sushi that is four dollars oh my god so expensive. However, nothing many sushi could eat so we ordered a large bowl of udon also is taste very good. This meal we paid almost $ 50 dollars maybe so expensive but I could try taste sushi I was so happy that with my friend dinning together. When we got new plate sushi we would share to each other. Finally, we're stomach was full . But had somthing It was pity forgot ate green tea ice-cream.

Daliy Speicific Meal

The one food we eat everyday is fish. Fish is a health food and it contains the best nutrition. Chinese people think eating fish every day will have a beautiful skin. Wow! This is very attractive for every woman. Many people like to eat fish, but some people don't like it. I don't really like to eat fish because I scared the fishbones. The one thing on the fish body that I would like to eat is fish eyes. It is very delicious. Everytime when we start to eat the fish, I will eat the fish eyes at the first. When I eat at home, the food almost the same that never change too much. Without fish for our food that is impossible. My cousin likes to eat fish too much, and he can eat a whole fish. Because he likes to eat, I have to cook everyday.

My Birthday Meal

I like eating and love to dinning outside to try different style cuisine, because I will stay all day happy after I enjoyed a wonderful and delicious meal. Last month, My husband, my son and I went to one of my favorite restaurant named "Chicago Chop House" to celebrated my birthday. We ordered an half dozen of freshly shucked blue point oysters and cherry stone clams for our appetizer, and I had a 16 oz prime rib with broiled 5 oz lobster tail as my entree; besides, we ordered a bottle of red wine. I enjoyed this meal, because the steak in their was very juicy and tender, and the environment was very relaxing, because we sat by the piano bar in the first floor to listened some soft music before dinning. I was very enjoy the food and atmosphere in this wonderful dinner! After the dinner, My husband bought me a birthday cake, I like this cake very much, because the cake was very fresh and had some fruit on the topping, and the whipping cream was unsweetened. I think I can't tried another one better than it since I have had tried that wonderful cake! It bought from a bakery shop which inside the Korean store, I tasted it before when I went shopping in there, I told my husband the cake was very delicious, so he chose that one for my birthday cake. I had a amazing birthday, because I enjoyed the delicious dinner and the tasty birthday cake!!!!

in the book club, i was interesting in murder mystery book which book's name is "the university murders." who knows my dream will be in the future.hah.....actually, i was not ready to read a book in spring break. i am designed to read my first book what i chose"staying together". also i didn't finish yet.my dream is police who will catch up all of criminals,and track down and arrest all of events.it is not east to be a inspector to find out who's murder. it takes long time to search evidence to prove people who kill the man or woman. if i am a inspector,i need to have clearly brain,and have intelligent ideas.i hope the book will help me a lot.perhap, i will understand all of parts ASAP.

staying together

This is a romantic book which one i would like to read. The story is wonderful because all the parts connect of story.although i don't finish to read yet, i really enjoy reading configuration.ikuko was lucky because she's BF waited for her,and her BF had supported her to study in different country. she didn't acculturate from Enghland. she joined photography club, and she knowed more people who same were from different countries. when she came back to Japan, she broke up her BF.(i want to say that the love of world is not easy to realize about love. sometimes i don't believe love,and i can't trust man who love me so much.also, love brings too much troubles and stress.) possibly, staying together is the same much trouble at the end of story.

When Summer Comes

I chose one of my favor books that name is “When Summer Comes” from my Book Club, because the book covers and book title has powerful attraction for me when I read it at first time. This story is easy and romantic and thoughtful. A hot summer and a holiday by the sea, Stephen and Anna Martins are escaping their stressful lives in London, and taking a holiday in the south-west of England. They make a friend—Tristan—with a local fisherman, but when Stephen is called back to London for work, Anna is left alone for a few days. And then Tristan was very attractive and was attracted to Anna, and the fact that he was so open and easy to talk to—unlike Stephen recently—and of course the magic of the sun and the sea. Eventually their relationship had happened and changed Stephen and Anna lives forever.

I like this book, because it was a easy reading book, not difficult vocabulary, not many complicated sentence, especially for a ESL students, and there were many event like our life in currently, so it not only was a romantic but also a thoughtful story. It let us to think how we can treat with our sensation better when we were getting an unusual feeling form the other person, although it was a person’s natural and comprehensible, but if we didn’t know how we do it better, otherwise, our life will change and the end will feel nervously and troubled and just the opposite to what one wishes. So I will like to recommend this book to other students, and hope we can discussion how we can treat with our sensation better when we are getting an unusual feeling form the other person in our real life, so that we can keep up our happy life.

THE UNIVERSITY MUNDERS

Our group choose the book's name is"The University Murders".When i frist time saw this book i think this is an interesting book.The book catch my attraction .The face of the book have a beautiful picture.THe book is tacking about one man kill a woman,but the plice officer didn't belive the man .And the plice her name is logan ,she try to find who kill that woman.The story happen in Edinburgh.Every time the pilce ask the man why you kill the woman ,the man is soo swift to tell her how to kill her .The story maybe is not fun ,but i think is good for people to read,because some times the genuine and the sham thinks need you to find and get the answer .

Staying together.

Actually,before read this story, i don't have any kind of interesting about this story because i thought, the love story or romantic story are boring for man or me. but, after read the story, i am just change my mind, it really came to my mind and it can possible to happen in this country also. first of all, this book has two part of story, one of them said international love story and the other one said after the love. the international love story was about a japaness girl name Ikuko fall in love with Zambian man name Bernard in England. the first part of story was little bit boring because the story line was just traditional story line but the the ending was opposite side with what i thought. And, the second part of story was really good for me. i never seen that kind of story before and it was great. i thought the end of the first part is end of this story but the writter Judith Wilson want to make a happy ending, so he has made a thread of first lovers and it made a great ending of this story. i am really recommend this story and when you read this book before study in the another country, it is going to be helpful to you.

The University Murders

My group choose this book. I thought this book is so much better than other books which mention about romance. Eventually, this book did not disappoint me. It has really interesting suspense. The beginning of the story is enough to attractive audience which conversation of Logan and Marr. there are several characters make the story. Logan who is main character of this story. She is a police officer in Edinburgh. She's trying to find murder in this story. Grant, Marr, Tom, and others are also important characters in this story. The story begin with finding dead woman in Calton Hill. This story shows that how to investigate a murder case. While the police investigate this merder case another dead woman appeared. That gives an information to find murder. this story is not normal. It has interesting reversal. If you have chance to read book try this book it will be fun.

I enjoy to read this book.Because it is easy to know for me. It is like the detective fiction. it is interesting with different person and place. you need to meet different people. you can know the story what is going on. i can know some place i didn't know before.this book remine me care everyone's life.finally I would recommend this book to other students because it's good story and easy to know.

The University Murders is written by Richard Macandrew.It's talking about investigation.It's an inasector Logan story.The story happened in Edinburgh.The inspector Jenny Logan interrogated Billy Marr because Billy said he had murdered a young women,Logan didn't believe him,he has lied about crimes many times before.Later two young women Clare Rutherford and Frances Stewart was murdered in the same way. Logan thought Billy was the murderer at first,but soon she found out he was not.Logan has to developed investigation...

I chose The University Murders because of my group.All of them liked it.I didn't want to read this book at first.I thought it is talking about something tragic and terrible.But I couldn't stop reading when I read it.It's wonderful and attractive.This is easy to understand and worth reading.Don't miss it.

The University Murder!!!!!!

The book i chose is "The University Muder". it is one of the story of the inspector logon. this is a good book. when i saw the picture on the cover, i felt like it. this book start with a little description about the character and the maps. the first chapter started with the conversation by logon and billy.billy which is a weird person. He like to pretend to be the muderer. He like to get in the police station once a week. Logon tried to get rid of him, but soon she found out there is really a blonde women died on the hill. perhap billy might be the muderer. but the evidence shows he is not. later they found out anouther dead body. it is another young women. inspector soon found out they both were the reasercher student in the computer science department. but they had reserch on different project. logon counldn't think why they wre get murder. She try to find all the clue and discover everybody in the computer department had the chance to be the murderer.all the evidence show its relate to thier project in the computer department. when she almost reach the muderer, she got caught. perhap she might be the third dead body in the city. if you want to find it out,readthis book" The University Muder"

The book I choose is the University Murders. The story take place in the Edinburgh Scotland.The main characters is Billy Marr, and the Sergeant Grant andGraham. It also it had three strudent who help to solve the murder case. In the story, it talk about what Billy did and why why he kill these women. It also about the case how they know and how they solve the murders by different clue.By 3the way, this book is easy. Beacuse this boook tell the murder is on the frist chapter and the what happen in the middle and so on .Also what trigger the murder to kill these woman. As the result this is a some kind ok boook to read.

Staying Together

Staying Together is Romantic book about a Japanese girl Ikuko love story. Ikuko want to travel before she get marry.
As she traveled to England she met Bernard. Before they're friend, but happen something they became lover. Ikuko promise Hiroshi would get back to Japan and got marry so she call Hiroshi and told that anything to Hiroshi. Bernard and Ikuko love story began. However, not a long time Bernard want to went back to Africa and take care his two daughters. Ikuko has been to the africa escort Bernard. In the end of the first part story they broke up. Ikuko went back to Japan and got marry.
The second part of the story was talking about Ikuko grandson and Bernard Granddaugther story. Such as they couldn't together, god gave chance for their grandchildren let them together. Finally, their grandchildren found something about their grandparents and knew they were lover when they didn't born yet.
This book is good and very easy to read for ESL students. Because in the book writing is simple and easy understand what the story talk about. Also that book will not use easy word then write something such as easy but can't understand what does the story mean. This book very clear and show reader first time catch to read. Also they separate two part of the story. Althought Ikuko and Bernard couldn't staying together, but thier grandchildren did it. Therefore, this book make me feel interest and find out how they are love story happen.

the university murders

I chose this book with my group because its title is very attractive. when I started to read it, I found that it really interesting with so much suspense. The book is a police story that happened in EDINBURGH city in SCOTLAND. the acts of this story started when the police found a woman's body next to calton hill hotel, so the main characters which is inspector JENNY LOGAN a police officer in Edinburgh commence the investigations with her assistant sergant GRANT.The first invistigations don't help them to discover any thing,than after four days,they found another woman perished. The situation became very complicated, the only important information found was that the two women were killed in a same way and both are student researchers in the university and their research domain was about computer. I liked the university murders book because i like this kind of story wich is police story and because the English used in is very simple so I didn't chek my dictionary even one time. I recomend all my classmates to read it because it's very amusing.

Staying Together

The book call 'Staying Together' is a interesting book. Look at the book of the general appearance of the picture, a man's hand is holding a woman's hand. For this point that we can predict what the book is going to tell about. This is a romantic story that talk about love. There have tow parts of this book. The first part of the main charaters in the book are Ikuko Kanazawa, Hiroshi Masuda and Bernard Chiluba. Then the second part of the main charaters are Taka and Joyce. The setting of the book is happened in Japan, England and Africa. The first part of the story is telling about Ikuko and Hiroshi. Hiroshi is Ikuko's boyfriend, and hiroshi wants to get marry with Ikuko. It isn't surprise to Ikuko because she doesn't want to get married so soon. She want to travle in America or England and study over there. So that she can learn more things and grow up a little more before she get married. Hiroshi is a very nice man and he loves Ikuko too much. He understands what she need, so that he said he will wait for her. Ikuko makes a promise to him that she will come back to get married with him. After that, Ikuko goes to England to study. When she arrived there, it has something happened to her. She lost her suitcase, and she felt very bad. The lifestyle in England is different from Japan, she lives hardly. One day she meet a boy that call Bernard, then they come to be friend. They talk and do a lot of things together. Later, they fall in love each other, and they come to be lover. They were happy when they got together. But one day Bernard got the fax from his country, he has to go back his country that call Mungwi in Africa. Because his wife left Beatrice and Chiole on their own, he had to go back to take of his daughter. When Bernard had already left, Ikuko miss him so much. Bernard said he will send her a letter or fax or phone call, but she didn't get his new like a month ago. She doesn't know how to do it, and she goes back to Japan. One day she got his letter in Japan, and then she went to Africa to see Bernard. She was trying hard to adapt the lifestyle in Africa, but it is big problem for her. She couldn't live there for her all life. Finnaly, they were broke up, and she went back to Japan. They were so sentimental, and maybe they will not see each other any more. The second part in the book is bout Ikuko's grandson that call Taka and Bernard's granddaughter that call Joyce. This happen again like before Ikuko and Bernard. They also fall in love to each other, and then they get together. In the end of this book, Ikuko and Bernard love each other so much, but they can't get together. Ikuko's grandson and Bernard's daughter are staying together like god arrange the things.

I really enjoy to read this book because for many reasones. First, the book isn't too difficult. The vocabulary in the book are easy so that I don't need to look up the meaning in the ditionarly. Second, the story is very interesting that about love, that is my favorite. I never hate to read a love story book. Finnal, I can learn a lot of word and sentence structure in the book. I would like to introduce this book to someone and I would like to more books about love story.

The story is about a Japanese girl name Ikuko and a Zambian man name Bernard. They were oversea students in England. When they met at the first time, something happened in their mind. They fell in love. Even though Ikuko had engaged to a Japanese boy , and Bernard had already had two kids. I think destiny bring them together. They have ever tried their best to stay together. Ikuko has been to the small town where Bernard lives in Zambia , accompanying Bernard and his two daughters . But it is too hard for a Japanese girl adjust to the life in a poor small town in Africa. At last they broke up. Ikuko went back to Japan.The second part of the book talk about the things happened in the future. It is about a Japanese boy and a Zambian girl . Things happen again. I don't think I can talk about it here. In case I will tell you the ending of the book . As my opinion, the first part is more attractive than the second part.
This book is good for ESL students. It is easy to read. There are not many new words, and I can read it smoothly. It make me feel more confident in reading an English book. It is a good start. Also I wonder how can the author write such a complicated book with these simple words, and I can't even say a simple sentence in my daily life with these words. I think the words we have known have been enough to help us express ourself very well in daily life. But we just don't know how to use it. What can I do? That is what I thought after I read this book.

The Amsterdam Connection

The book Amsterdam Connection is about one reporter witch travels to Amsterdam when a friend witch belongs in a football club there found dead. She searched for the merderer and she traveled almost all over the city because she tried to find what's all about behind this merder. There she met a lot of people who helped her and she was in dangerous because the killer watch her and tried to catch her because she was almost found who was it. After a long story about the football and the members of the club finally she found who was behind this blood layer story. The main characters now are the news reporter on the daily Echo in London Kate Jensen, Rick witch was Kate's friend also news reporter, Dave Balzano the editor of Echo, Elly Van Praage a policewoman in the Amsterdam, Tom Carson Max's brother, Martijn Christiaans a Dutch bussinessman, Jos Van Sanchez a goal keeper at Rotterdam city, Joop de Vries an ispector in the Amsterdam police and Bert a criminal.

Personally I really enjoyed to read this book bacause it was easy for me to understand the meaning and also the story was very interesting with many different situations in different places and times. The story of this book now, remind me in my life that everyone care and want their own goods and they are not care if they kill someone to keep this. In conclusion I would recommend this book to other students because it's nice, easy to understand and the whole story is very interesting.

I Promised To Come Back "Staying Together"

Staying Together is one of the most interesting novels in their book club. The book is about love. The story teaches lessons to everyone that could reached that stage of love. Staying Together is about a young beautiful Japanese lady name Ikuko Kanazawa and a young handsome Japanese man name Hiroshi Masuda. Ikuko and Hiroshi fell in love with each other. Hiroshi wanted to marry but Ikuko wanted to travel , study and to see things for herself before getting marry.As the story continues She left for England to study English. Before she departed from Japan,she Made a promise to came back and Marry Hirosh. The Persistence of communication kept them together for few months. Because she just arrived to a new country and she never knew everyone in Birmingham a city in England. when Ikuko arrived in Birmingham, her blue suitcase got missing so that night, she slept in the same clothes she had on when she got in Birmingham. The next morning a black man who was wearing a red jacket brought Ikuko blue suitcase right at her door. The man that was wearing the red jacket his name is Bernard Chiluba an African student from Zambia. Ikuko finally got to meet Bernard at their photography club and they started to tell each other about themselves. Ikuko told Bernard where she is from and what she like to do, same as Bernard. As they continue to meet they started have feelings for each other. Unfortunately Bernard got a News from his parents about his children and this wife so he had to go back to Zambia, promising that he may be back. But as time went on, Ikuko could no longer bear being alone so she decided to go to Africa to find Bernard. It was love that took ikuko to Africa, Zambia.

Staying Together

Staying Together is a book writing by Judith Wilson. This book is about a young japanese girl, Ikuko, who are trying to see abroad before getting married. She is getting in Birmingham, to learn english and discovers new people. Will she go back to Japan as she went in Birmingham? This story is a nice story of love specially written for ESL people.

First, it was very easy to read this book and I had fun with this story. The writing was simple and even though I didn't understand right away the second part of the book, this story was good for my self confidence in english. The mean character is a strong person who has all to be happy in this routine life but who wants to open her mind with the willing to see more before to get married. She is courageous and very open mind. She explains all this sensations in her diary and I should do the same to improve my english and also saving my impression during  the time consuming away from my country. It a real opportunity to learn english in college and I realize how much I 'm lucky to be able to do that in Harnold Washington.     

Staying Together

I chose "Staying Together" as one of my favorite book in book club, because the image of cover and the title first caught my attention, I thought that might be a romance story, that's why I chose it. "Staying Together" was a real love story. The main characters were Ikuko, Hiroshi and Bernard. Ikuko promised Hiroshi to get married after she finished the short course in Birmingham. In Birmingham, Ikuko met a new friend Bernard, who came from Zambia in a photography club. Bernard and Ikuko became a good friends, Ikuko learned so many news things that she had never seen and heard from Bernard. Ikuko enjoyed the time to stay with Bernard and realized she had already fallen in love with him, so she decided to tell his boy friend,Hiroshi, all what happened with them, Hiroshi was very sad and angry to hear that, because Ikuko loved another one and didn't want to get marry with him. Ikuko and Bernard began a couple and shared every wonderful moments together, but later Bernard heard a news that his wife left two daughters and ran away, his father and mother were very old and not able to took care of them, so he decided to back to Zambia and take care his daughters. After Bernard left, Ikuko missed him very much and lead to both psychological and emotional problems, so she decided to went Zambia to met Bernard. Ikuko tried to adapt the life in Zambia, because she wanted to stay with Bernard, but even though she tried very hard to get used the life in there, but lastly she realized that she didn't belong there and decided back to japan. After a long long time, the other romance story happened in Taka and Joyce, they met in Egypt.Taka saved Joyce's life in an accident, and they fell in love with each others and promise they will meet again after they back to their own country, because Taka promise his grandmother to back to Japan and visited her, and Joyce wanted to back to Zambia, because his grandfather had passed away and left her the key of house, so she decided to got back to Zambia again. After they back to their country, they had a great discover from Taka's grandmother and some memorize pictures from Joyce's grandfather. Taka and Ikuko were the grandson and granddaughter of the ex- love couple of Ikuko and Bernard!!!
I like "Staying Together", because the words was simple and easy to understanding, and it also has a very surprise ending that really attract me couldn't stop to read until the ending. I'd like to recommand it to everyone, because this is a powerful and romance original fiction about love, and best from the beginner started to read a English books. I hope everybody like my introduction for this book and had a lots of fun on it, enjoy!!!

The University Murders

I chose to read “The University Murders” in my club book. I chose it because the title seemed interesting to me. At first, when I saw the book in the class I imagined a horror story and suspense novel, so I decided to chose it.

I wasn’t wrong about this because the book began when a dead woman is found and the investigation to find the murderer starts. The main character is Inspector Jenny Logan who is a police officer in Edinburgh, a London Police Station. She and her assistant officer called Sergeant Grant began the investigation to find the murderer of the young woman, but soon they look themselves frustrated because they can not find any interesting clue that allows finding the assassin. Suddenly, they found another dead woman in town who has been murder in the same circumstances than the first one. Inspector Logan is trying to find the assassin and she discovered that both women were doing a research in computer programs in a University to get a PHD degree. The book is getting interested when a few of the characters seem guilty, and the reader is so captivated with the book that is also trying to catch the assassin.

I would recommend the book to other students because it has easy vocabulary on it, and the story is exciting that can keep the reader mesmerized at all times.

It hard to let go.

In every man's life, there is something they want to maintain. That thing may be a gift from someone you love or a special person in your life. The fabric on the photo is a beautiful materia that is tied-dye. My mother gave me this clothe when i was coming to the US. whenever i see or wear this clothe i think about my mother. Many of my friends love to have this clothe, but i can't give it out. I have given the style to them because they want to order the fabric with the same colors and design. I have started to worry about it getting small for me.But i'm not going to give it out. This's the only thing my mom gave me that i really love with all my heart. so it just hard to let go of. I have decided to give it to my first girl child, if i have one. therefore i am taking good care of it. Because this will be like something pass from one generation to another, if that works.

the stressor in my life

we are stress out ever day of our lives. presently i don't consider those stresses. what are consider as a stressor in my life is English as a second language(ESL). ESL has been a stressor in my life. whenever i think about it ,i developed a strong headaid. I have been traumatic because i have tried my best to learn the language, but it's not easy to learn. it has begun my breakfast, lunch and dinner. I can stand the pressure of the it has put on me. i am just sick and exhausted from it. when i started learning ESL, it wasn't stressful as compare to now. things were moving on smoothly for me, but i think i have reached to the hightest degree of stress in level five. It makes me not to enjoy my sleep. I still up doing home work all night just to pass the class and the exit exam.I don't want to repeat the class. My mind has been divided. due to the too much of thinking . I wish i had another option to escape from ELS. That way i can be free like a free bird. As the saying gones,"nothing comes easily in life". Therefore, i am fighting this mr. stressor in my life.

Stress can be from different ways .Some of them from school ,work and family .Some of the people have study stress problem.And some of them have work and also family stress problem. Those all the problem can be from different way.People usually want to do somethinkto stop the stress .I think i am a happy person,and a optimistic person. I usually think everythink is good and perfect.If i have something make me feel not good or feel bad,I usually easy forget them,and unhappy thinks are not too long with me.I usually listen music when i feel unhappy or sometime i like to watch moive to make myself relax.I think lots of people like me .They will do something to relax. I hope no matter in the future or right now ,i hope i can be a happy girl forever.

Deal Or Not Deal

In our life stress usually common in our life.For us, some may we have to deal with it and how to get overthe stress it have. Sometime it come from nowhere or from our job, faimly and from the daily life. For me, how to deal the stress i had. Frist i may find some quit place or go some place etc. to relax. someime it may find a book to read so i would not try to think about or try make some room for my stress to let go. However deal a stress one things is important is try to talk it out with a friend. It also one things is important is not how to deal with the stress, it is how let go the the stress it had or i have. So this is how i do it and how i deal the stress.

Everybody have different stress in their life. I think my stress in my life is studying English. I think this so hard for me. English is my second language. It's the new language for me. I never study English before. I study English in shcool. The reading and the writing is hard for me. When I read the stroy, I don't know much word. So I can't understand what the stroy talk about.When i don't understand the stroy, I will be annoyed. The writing is same. i don't what i can write and so many time i don't the word for English. But i live in United State, i must know English. If i don't know English, i will be so hard to live in United State.So I will try hard to study English.I hope my English wil be batter.

Keep Going

My job is very important to me. I am so proud of my job. I am a leader in my work place. My job is take care my employees and a restaurant when the manager wasn't here. I have to take care everything about that restaurant. I had to do everything; however, I could do it or not. I have to finished it, when my manager wasn't come to. I will think about the best way for my restaurant. For example, how to save money with my company and how to control the employees. Everything is important to me. I cannot make a mistake in my job. My job was make my stress getting higher and higher, but I know how to reduce pressure it. I went to gym when I got off. I would run on the running machine. Gym is my best relax place when I went to. I like gym!

Grow Up

I need more freedom in my life. I always want to grow up fast. When I grow up, I will have freedom. Why am I saying that? I had no freedom in my life. I always stayed at home at least went out with my own friends. My Mom doesn't like my to went out with my friends. She just want me to stay at home. I don't like to stay at home. I hate to stay at home. It makes my stress. I have nothing to do at home. The only thing that I always do is play games and watch TV online. I always downloaded the games, so the computer is my best friend at my house. It can makes me happy. I always go out with my friends, but she didn't know. I never told her, when I went out. I always went out when she went to work. I was so excited to do this. That's good for me I thought. Play game also can relaxed myself. I hope I will grow up fast that I can do my favorite things.

everything in my life can make me stress. i feel stress everyday. For instance; whenever i walk up late on the morning.i feel stress and worry.i will get off the bed hurry and run out the house. some time i even forgot to bring the bus farecard, then i have to run back and get it. It really make me stress. Stress is really a big problemto everybody. the best way is to face it ,not to avoid it. when you try to avoid it. it will just lead you into more stress. But it's hard for me to face it. i dont have the guest to face it,so i try to avoid it. but the fact tell me that,when you avoid it .it will just make you more troble.

Reading is really stressful for me. I always stress down when i read a book. Actually, studying English is not easy for me. Espacialy, reading is horrible. When i read the book i can not concertrate on reading. even though the book that wrote by Korean. At the first time to read book I imagine the story that book says. Some seconds later i think another thing that is totally out of story of the book. Everytime i read the book it happen. I do not know why i can not focus on the reading. It is too hard for me. I usually spend lots of time for reading.

when i got the assignment about reading i read that more than twice. however, lots of times i could not get everything. these two books also gave me a stress. As you know, we got lots of assignment from these books. i had hard time to do that assignment. My book is really mess up by something that i wrote down. I annotated a lot. I also made underline on point of the story. Actually, It is really helpful. However, It is not enought for me i really need something to make me focus on reading.

Stress in my life

I have had several different ways of stress during my life, some of them positive and other negative. I used to have a very demanding job in my country. I worked from 10 to 12 daily hours from Monday to Friday, and sometimes on Saturday. Even when I enjoyed my job and the tasks at my office, I still faced the stress that problems and disturbances of every day brought with it. I had to find solutions for different problems every day and of course it is a terrible stress for your life. The best way for me to deal with this stress was to meet with my family and go together to a restaurant or to the movies. Since I immigrated to the United States, my life has changed and new ways of stress had appeared. For now I don’t have a job so I am facing with a different kind of stress. I am learning English and when I can not find the correct way to communicate with people around me is frustrating and annoying, and it causes me stress. Also, I decided to legalize my professional title in the United States in order to get a good job in Chicago. This task has not been easy for me because the education system is different here in the States than it is in my country. To get my title here I have to give an exam which consists of four different topics. I have begun to study for this exam, and this entails me to study four HUGE different books in English (like the one in the picture). I will be giving my first exam in April 1st and I have a lot of stress because I do not want to fail this exam, otherwise I will have to study again. After this first exam I will begin to study for the other three. I hope I can get the title here in the United States, so I will be able to find a job and my dreams for the future can come true.

A great fear in my new immigration life

There are many stresses in my life when I grown up. But I think the most stress is the immigration life after I came to Chicago. In November first 2006, I immigrated to Chicago with my family. Although the air was very clear and fresh, the city was very beautiful, the space was very roominess in Chicago, but they didn’t dispel my feel of a great fear. I felt I liked a deaf and dumb and blind person in Chicago. I usually fear to do everything and to go everywhere. I was wrong that took the bus; my son wanted to enter into Elementary School but I didn’t know what the teacher said; I was scolded loudness by driver test man when I test the driver license; I wanted to learn English but I didn’t know what can I do. Not only these, but also I know the law was very strict and impartial in America, I worry how can I do if I didn’t care and violate the law. In addition, I haven’t safe that my husband didn’t together with us that he had to go back China to finish his business. So I have a great fear in my life every day. My weight was drop. My face usually have tear and sometime I didn't sleep at night. Indeed, I want to go back China at one time. In order to have a best future for my son, I must lighten my stress, so I do Yoga if I have free time, it can help me relax my mind and health. I hope I can acclimatize myself to America life as soon as possible.

my path to the futur

The most thing that stress me these days is my path to the futur. After I finish my ESL five and six, I plan to study radiologie or nursing, so to do that I have to devote more time for studing,therefore it's going to push me to get just a part time job I mean I should work only in week end. Like every adult in the US i have to pay some bills sush as rent,cellphone,internet, transportation and food, plus I get to send money from time to time to my familly in Morocco. The only solution that I find so far is to be a taxi driver, because it's going to allow me to make enough money for all life's expences, but i dont really like driving, so i will do this job as a last resort. I wich the comments contain suggestions for me and thanks in advance.

Live with my aunts family

There is stress when I was born until now still around me sometime let me can't breath and want to die. Twenty years ago, I was born when I know who I am my aunts family always told me that my cousin how she smart who study in school. Every year she skipped class or have many other best school recived her to student. And they would said look at me I would like a stupid girl nothing good in school. They have always told me study from her that why she got many new things such pretty clothes or something she could easy to got, but me I have had every time I saw it what she had I would cry.

When my parents and I moved to Hong Kong, stress was disapper I didn't want to hear much my cousin how she smart from thier big mouth and compare us. However, I think the bad day have never come, but that was not real. I came to US I would so happy and miss them I don't know why. But the evil dream haven't been leaving me. They still like told me how did my cousin samrt. This stress was coming again made me feel sad, and much stress came from school. I really didn't want to stayed in US forever. Why did they like to compare who is the best. They haven't been thinking about they always told me that would make me had stress. I couldn't understand why they like talk. Moreover, my parent haven't had said that to me such as "studied from her". My parents just remind me do my best that was ok. Therefore, I live with my parents I haven't had any stress happen. So, I like live with my parents. My parents love me forever andthey will know what I am thinking about it. I hope this stress will disapper as soon as. I don't know when I will be a crazy people that they make. Also I wil use many ways to let my aunts famil can't see me and when they come to my home I will go out to relax by myslf.

The Daily Stress in Our Life

Everybody around the world even the kids suffer from different kinds of stress. In our world things are stressfull and for that we are responsible. One simple thing for example is the every day traffic. Everybody in the morning is stressfull to go to the job or to school so that makes people full of stress before the begining of the day. For me now I am a stress person but I thing the most stress of me is from school. Every day is a new day full with happenings and new things. From morning until night I have stress for the school, because I have to get ready for my classes and my homework and also to be on time in class. It's part of my life, and believe me is stressfull to be in a school somewere else from your country because you don't know most people there and the system of education is different. But school is not the only reason to have stress. Even when I wait the bus in bus stop is a kind of stress because I want to go home fast. Now I believe that stress is everywere and everyday in our life so we should be more relax and we can do things look more easy because if you have so many stress every day all your entire life then you may be suffer after a couple of years of sickness because of to many stress.
